The markets cannot continue to rise. Inflation is up. The average company in the S&P 500 carries a P/E ratio of nearly 40, it’s only been higher just prior to the dot-com crash and global financial crisis in 08/09. Interest rates are virtually zero driving real estate up. Even cryptos have reached an all-time high. The only asset that hasn’t risen in lieu of the inflationary situation the US is in, so effectively gold is relatively cheap.
